Most of the Lincolnshire Wolds was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1973 as a result of local campaigning. Wolds View Country Park is a picturesque motorhome campsite nestled within four acres of the scenic Lincolnshire Wolds, just a mile away from Caistor town centre. This serene location caters exclusively to adults and offers plenty of opportunities for exploration right at its doorstep. Within a 10-minute walk from the park, visitors can access the Viking Way, an ancient trackway that stretches from the Humber Bridge to Oakham in Rutland. If the coast beckons, choose from several charming seaside towns within a 20-minute drive away.
Wold's View provides spacious pitches on either grass or hard standing, each equipped with a 16 AMP electric hook-up point. The site's shop offers everyday essentials such as groceries and Calor gas and the modern facilities include excellent washrooms with toasty under-floor heating, laundry, rentable fridges, a cafe and full wheelchair accessibility. 2. CE Brader Caravan & Camping Site
Located near Louth, CE Brader Caravan & Camping Site, is perfectly situated to explore the local attractions including Donna Nook, Cleethorpes, Waltham Windmill, and Lincolnshire Wolds Railway. This small, secluded Lincolnshire Wolds camping site accommodates up to five caravans or motorhomes and up to ten tents, all equipped with electric points and toilet facilities. Facilities are basic but well-maintained including a small toilet block with basic facilities, water and waste disposal.
If you want to sample some of the local fruity produce, and we recommend you do, head over to the adjacent soft fruits farm run by the Brader family and fill your boots. You can even pick your own strawberries.

3. Birdsong Touring Park
If you’re encouraged to visit this Lincolnshire Wolds camping site because of the name, you’ll find plenty of other reasons to love it once you’re there. The Birdsong Touring Park is an absolute gem. Located at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, neighbouring the National Trust Gunby Estate, it is surrounded by mature hedges and trees as well as natural wildlife ponds that attract ducklings, squirrels, woodpeckers, dragonflies, swifts, bats and occasionally the elusive kingfisher. Watch for the distinctive bright blue flash as it darts by or listen out for its call.
BBQs are welcome and there’s easy access to walks on well-maintained public footpaths directly from the site. Skegness is just down the road if you fancy some good old-fashioned British seaside entertainment. We recommend the Seal Sanctuary and a trip on the big wheel, followed by a decadent, towering ice cream or bag of chips from one of the sellers along the seafront.

4. Snailsspace at The Sidings
The superbly-named Snailsspace at The Sidings is a modest, peaceful motorhome camping site nestled between the Lincolnshire Wolds and the coast. This is the perfect place for visitors who want to get away from it all while still being able to easily explore nearby attractions such as Cleethorpes Beach, or hopping on a steam train at the local railway station.
Your friendly hosts, Jenny and Wayne, offer a handful of hardstanding pitches designed for small caravans or motorhomes, each equipped with 16 AMP electric. Guests can also enjoy the campers' patio, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the incredible views.
Dogs are welcome at this year-round site and facilities include a shower, toilet and washing-up area. Local eating and drinking options are very good indeed. Try the Livesey Arms in Grimsby or head for some local delicacies at The Mansion House, or one of the many eateries in Louth.
