We did too! And for this we would like to share it with you even if only for a few days. The set-up is WESTFALIA, a true guarantee of completeness and comfort (as far as we are talking about before the fall of the Berlin wall!), guaranteeing a truly pleasant and enjoyable experience even by modern standards.
Double gas burner, hob (with LPG cylinder outside the passenger compartment) and stainless steel sink, trivalent refrigerator (LPG, 220V, 12V), revolving front seats and table to create a small lounge, sliding sofa bed (190x120) and sliding overcab (195x105) to obtain 4 comfortable sleeping places from a very small driving volume. 220V electrical system with circuit breaker, internal European socket and external CAMPING socket (with extension cord supplied), auxiliary GEL service battery (to be autonomous even in free camping), EBERSPACHER heating (to heat the room even with the engine off and without the need for connection to electricity), bluetooth car radio, 55lt drinking water (+ two extra 20lt drinking water tanks), and 12lt chemical toilet (supplied with chemical product for washing).
Armandone doesn't have great needs.
It's easy to drive and to park, it takes up just the space of a modern car (it's smaller than an SUV), it doesn't like high speeds (it likes 90 km/h on the motorway) and it's reliable and fuel efficient. little (about 13Km/lt). It travels hundreds if not thousands of kilometers without having any special needs other than a glass of water and engine oil.
He's already faced all kinds of adventures. From the sea to the mountains. From the Pyrenees to the slopes of Etna also enjoying relaxing transport by ship.
Equipped with furniture, mirror, auxiliary technical locker, wardrobe for hanging clothes, small shoe rack and an infinite number of compartments where to put objects for a holiday out of town and FIAMMA bike racks for 3 bicycles (with fixing system).
Also equipped with blackout curtains for privacy, thermal panels for thermal insulation of the driving compartment and upper portholes (with mosquito net) for ventilation on summer nights.
Also equipped with kitchen and camping accessories to be able to enjoy the outdoors in total relaxation (external LED light, folding table, stools, pots, utensils and cutlery, etc.) and everything that is necessary for utilities and for a travel in serenity (ropes, extension cords, funnels, adapters for foreign countries, multiple electrical sockets, smartphone holder for driving, USB battery charger, engine oil and coolant, emergency medical kit, replacement fuses, etc.).
It offers the possibility of having children's accessories (travel seat) to make the experience accessible also to families with small children like us!
It can be collected and returned directly outside the TAGGIA ARMA railway station so as not to have any problems if you arrive from far away or from the nearest airport (Genoa or Nice).
