With great love I offer this campervan for rental.
I am an enthusiastic camper and hiker myself. I have had many fun adventures with this fully equipped campervan.
The camper is fully equipped (see a detailed explanation below). You can go camping with it in all weather conditions.
Since I go camping with it myself, all comfort items are present. You only need to bring your own linen and towels. The cart has a full inventory of plates, pots, pans, bags, glasses, cutlery, cutting boards and so on. Camping chairs and a table are also provided, a collapsible bucket, the charging cable, a dustpan and brush, a weather station, a rubbish bin and so on.
There is also a logbook/diary available to collect everyone's adventures!
Dexter the Crafter is a self-built mobile home. A few years ago I bought this Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 liter 4 cylinder manual with 164 hp. Over the course of a year, with a little help from my father, I converted this empty van into a campervan. Everything was built by myself with the aim of camping off grid and stealth. From the outside, the car still looks like an ordinary van. But on the inside, this campervan is really a house on wheels! Everything is provided to go 100% off grid, both in winter and summer. This is a Crafter long wheelbase with a raised roof. So you can stand up comfortably indoors. A normal bed was provided, 140 cm wide and 2 cm long. You can laze around and dream of your holiday.
When you enter you will find all the controls on the right side. All light points can be turned on and off separately and dimmed. You can check the battery voltage and the water level of the very large pure water tank (140 liters). You can also operate the diesel heating here and charge your devices with the USB charger. A 70 liter waste water tank was also placed under the car. This way you can still wash dishes or shower in places where it is not appropriate to let dirty water run.
Right in front of the entrance is the shower and toilet (chemical). The kitchen is located on both sides in the middle of the loading space. There is plenty of storage space to take all your food, drinks and supplies with you. Of course, hot and cold water is provided. The refrigerator is 100% quiet and cools your beer for the aperitif.
Upstairs, there are wall cupboards on the entire left side, so you can take an entire wardrobe with you for a change of clothes.
There are light points in the entrance, shower, the entire middle row and under the hanging cupboards. So you should never stay in the dark. You can dim these lights for cozy indoor dining when it is too cold outside.
The bed is large, soft and warm in winter. A large headboard has been built at the back to prevent your pillow from falling down. There is a fan above the bed that can blow both in and out. So you can opt for a little ventilation or a cool breeze. At the front of the loading space there is a second open roof that can be opened and closed with mosquito netting or a curtain.
There is enough space under the bed to bring all your other belongings. You will also find the water tank, the conversion of the solar panels, the water boiler, the water pump and the 4 (!!) living batteries. When the sun shines (or when you drive) the batteries are recharged. So you can party all night long or quietly read a book without any problem. If you want to party a little too hard, it is also possible to plug the car into shore power via the very discreet and small connection at the back of the car.
On the roof there are 4 solar panels of 110W each that charge your batteries all day long.
So there are many windows: in the rear doors, in the side door, 2 skylights and an intermediate window between the cabin and the loading space. These can all be covered by cloths with magnets.
Enough space on the inside, but if necessary you can still take bicycles or a trailer with you because the car has a tow bar. There are 3 seats, the seats were newly covered so you can drive with the feeling that you are sitting in your salon.
I am happy to explain everything about the use of the car. Then it's time to get in and go!
