If splashing about the indoor pool hasn’t tired the little ones enough, take them to the soft play area to amble about a bit longer. You can also take strolls along the duck ponds or walk over to the nearby sand and shingle beach at Eypemouth.
Plan your trip right, and you can park your motorhome on one of the incredible clifftop pitches for an unbeatable view. You won’t want to leave this stunning position for long, so quickly head to the beer garden or campsite restaurant for something to eat.

If it’s too cold to swim in the delightful waters of the Isle of Wight, or you simply fancy something different, you can take a dip in the heated outdoor pool. Don’t fret if the weather is a typical grey English day, as you can also swim in their indoor spa pool.
Aside from having two swimming pools, this campsite is located only half a mile from the idyllic Shanklin Beach. You can enjoy dinner at the Barnhouse bar and restaurant on-site, followed by evening entertainment at the spacious Squires Showbar, which features live bands, cabaret and discos.
The little ones will adore this campsite thanks to the full range of kids’ clubs. Even teens will be kept entertained thanks to non-kid activities like filmmaking.
3. Morfa Bychan Holiday Park, Aberystwyth

This is definitely one of our favourite campsites with a pool in Wales. Located only fifteen minutes from Aberystwyth, this clifftop site offers stunning sea views out across Cardigan Bay. You can enjoy direct beach access to go fishing, boating, rockpooling, surfing, or simply walk along the sea.
Aside from the outdoor heated pool, this campsite features a games lounge, a pirate ship play area, and a dedicated area for your dog. More than all of these excellent facilities, Morfa Bychan Holiday Park is celebrated for its exemplary customer service. You can get all of your questions answered at the reception, as well as plenty of tips for the local area.
4. Whitemead Forest Park, Lydney

Situated just outside of the Forest of Dean, you’ll never run out of things to do at Whitemead Forest Park. This campsite features a gym, sauna, steam room, spa pools, and more. So spend a day hill walking and follow it with some well-deserved R&R at the campsite. Little ones will be entertained at the indoor swimming pool, with a dedicated kids area, and the numerous outdoor play areas throughout the site.
All those activities will surely work up an appetite, so you can head to the restaurant, which is open all day, as well as the bars on-site. Or if you’d like to head out for a bit, the nearby village of Parkend is a 10-minute walk and features many cosy pubs. Honestly, this might just be one of the most peaceful campsites with a pool in the UK.
5. Bucklegrove Caravan and Camping Park, Somerset

Pitch your motorhome at the oldest family-run campsite in the Cheddar Valley. Bucklegrove Caravan and Camping Park is one of the best family-friendly campsites with a swimming pool, and you’ll quickly feel right at home here.
Aside from its indoor pool, this campsite features a games room, licensed shop, laundrette, and cafe. Visitors are particularly impressed by the excellent mobile phone coverage and WiFi available throughout, which is definitely not a given at all campsites.
From this campsite, you can take a bus to Wells, Cheddar or Weston-Super-Mare, all of which feature plenty of shops and restaurants, or you can walk to the nearby pub for a quick pint.
6. Castle Cary Holiday Park, Newton Stewart

How would you like to pitch your motorhome beside a 16th-century castle? You can feel like you’ve headed back to the Tudor era, minus all of the beheadings. This scenic lakeside park is the perfect setting for a Scottish holiday in Dumfries and Galloway. Part of the 16th-century baronial castle beside it has been restored as the Laird’s Inn, which features stone walls, wooden beams, open fires, and delicious meals. Be sure to book ahead, as this inn is popular with both travellers and inhabitants of the region.
Castle Cary Holiday Park also has access to its own loch for fishing, and both an indoor heated pool as well as an outdoor heated pool. As if this all wasn’t tempting enough, this campsite also features a heated paddling pool, crazy golf, a playground and a games room.
But our favourite aspect of Castle Cary Holiday Park is the donkey corner, where you can greet and feed the site’s furry four-legged residents.
7. Widemouth Bay Caravan Park, Bude

If you’re looking for UK campsites with swimming pools to enjoy on a surf holiday, then we’ve got exactly what you need in Widemouth Bay Caravan Park. These fifty acres of greenery are a short drive away from the excellent surf schools and idyllic beach at Bude. It’s set on a hilltop overlooking Widemouth Bay, so expect stunning views and a good calf workout.
If the weather isn’t promising enough to go surfing, you can instead paddle about in the heated indoor pool. Young ones will love the kids’ club run by the cunning Foxy, and adults and children alike will enjoy the free evening entertainment by the Stripey Coats.
Warning: this campsite is so well-stocked and fun that you won’t want to leave, even to do groceries. But the good news is that you won’t have to, as there’s a takeaway, shop, and restaurant on-site.
8. Beacon Fell View, Preston

Spread across 30 acres of landscaped park, Beacon Fell View offers views over the Ribble Valley. It’s within easy reach of the Forest of Bowland, Pennines and Lake District. This campsite is the ideal starting point for numerous day trips, followed by restful sleep at this peaceful site.
There’s plenty to keep you busy at the campsite as well, including an indoor heated pool, table tennis, a paddling pool, and entertainment four nights a week. If tired parents need a break, they can send little ones to the free kids’ club while they spend some adult-only time in the lounge bar. If you’re looking for fun for the whole family, you can head to the crazy golf course or arcade.
Be sure to taste local produce at the well-stocked farmers’ market in nearby Longridge. This is also home to Longridge Estate, a renowned winery.

If you’re looking for family campsites with a swimming pool where you can just relax and forget about the bustle of daily life, look no further than Lazonby Campsite. This peaceful Cumbria campsite is located near the banks of the River Eden, surrounded by woodland and fields. Situated on the edge of Lazonby village, you can easily reach a pub, a well-stocked supermarket, and more. Or a mile further, you’ll find the neighbouring village of Kirkoswald with even more to offer.
This eco-friendly campsite uses solar-powered showers, situated by the pool. The staff are known to go above and beyond to make your stay the best it could be. Its peaceful location means that the only noise you’ll hear are quacking ducks in the morning, and you can enjoy a riverside view with your cup of tea.
10. Ruda Holiday Park, Croyde

Croyde is a world-famous destination for surfers, and Ruda Holiday Park is the preferred accommodation for those travelling here to catch some waves. You can hire a variety of boards, wetsuits and other kits from their dedicated surfing shop, and they have access to the renowned Surf South West school.
Bad weather doesn’t have to come in the way of your summer escape here, as Ruda Holiday Park has a tropical indoor pool complex, complete with water rapids, waterfalls, hydrojets, underwater geysers and a huge slide. Let’s not pretend that your kids are the only ones who want to try that last one out.
Take your time exploring Devon’s Gold Coast, returning at night to enjoy the restaurant and evening entertainment available at Ruda Holiday Park.
