Dogs are also welcome with our prior approval, for an additional cost of £35 per dog and if extra care and attention is taken to cleaning the vehicle before returning.
Our main requirements to be able to hire a vehicle here at GOAT Roadtrip are:
- To be aged between 23 and 75
- To have a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
- To have a UK/EU driving licence with address displayed
- To provide a DVLA check number
- To provide 2 further proofs of address
We also have the following driving licence requirements:
- You have not had your licence suspended for any period within the last three years
- You have not been involved in more than 1 ‘fault’ incident within the last three years
- You have not had more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction
- You have not obtained a BA, DD or UT conviction
o BA: Disqualified Driver
o DD: Reckless/ Dangerous Driving
o UT: Theft or Unauthorised Taking
We accept the following documents as proof of address:
- Bank statements including e-statements
- Utility bills
- Council tax bills
- All of the above must be dated within 90 days of the hire start date and all addresses must match the address displayed on the driving licence
